The Facilities At Ottertail Ranch
ttertail Farm has a twenty stall barn, including12x12 box stalls, one 16x14 foaling stall, one 14x14 foaling stall, and two oversized stallion stalls. The barn is also equipped with a tack room, feed room, and hot/cold water wash rack. Ottertail Farm's barn has a heated/air conditioned lounge, as well as an apartment for our trainer. The barn is also equipped with wireless internet access and a state-of-the-art fly spray system, making those summer days nearly fly-free.
Ottertail Farm sits on sixty-one acres of Coles county land, located in the heart of central Illinois. The property boasts an 82x160 ft indoor arena,
full size dressage size out-door arena, dry lots, turn-out paddocks, outdoor washrack, stocked pond, hay fields and oversized roundpen. Our new Cover-all arena provides amazing protection from the weather while enhancing natural light and sound. Several trails are accessible from the farm. Every season we enjoy the view from this “hilltop” location overseeing the horses, deer, and other wildlife in the area.

Boarding
We welcome boarders with all kinds of goals, whether in training, showing, pleasure riding or foaling mares. We offer all our amenities (see above) and a friendly environment . Full board includes: Strategy/Compete,
our excellent homegrown grass hay, blanketing and turnout, daily stall cleaning and administering of owner-provided supplements/wormers etc. We offer regular farrier and vet visits, two foaling stalls with video and a hot water washstall. We live on the property and a barn worker lives in the barn apartment. Call for a tour and special pricing
