Nevado OTR is a breathtaking athlete with all the personality and majesty of the Andalusian, with eye-catching pinto markings and dressage movement. His true black non-fading color comes from his sire, Navarre GF and the beautiful markings come from his dam Miss Spot, our National Showhorse mare.

Nevado is the son of 16.3 pure black Andalusian Navarre GF, the legendary two time national champion stallion at International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association, as well as national champion at the Pura Raza He has passed on superior size, bone, intelligence, and movement. We look forward to more of that from Nevado's offspring, with a bit of color besides!

As a yearling, Nevado qualified for the IALHA National Championships and was reserve champion in the half-Andalusian 2-and-under championship, winning the “Best Movement Award”!
In 2004 he won the Regional Championship, and then National Champion Half Andalusian Stallion 2-under, with the Best Movement Award.
2006 Nevado made his dressage debut 67.7% at his first class! Not only is a brilliant mover and keen of mind, he is a gentleman who will take a trailride with mares, or stand quietly for a rub. He has qualified for the dressage at IALHA National Championships two years in a row.
Summer of 2007 brought first place ribbons in dressage suitability, English pleasure, huntseat and half-Andalusian stallion in-hand, at the Baroque Andalusian show in Elkhorn, WI. He was Reserve Show Champion at this event.
2008 Nevado was half-andalusian Show Champion at Elkhorn, WI Baroque Festival, winning every class he entered under saddle.
Nevado is schooling at 2nd level under Rachel Hill and scoring in the 60s at Training Level and First Level.
STUD FEES
For 2009, Nevado OTR is available for breeding to a limited number of outside mares.
Introductory Fee: $600 including booking fee and the first collection ( deposit and shipping fees not included)
